Delete it in the app
This is the quickest way, and it works on Android and iPhone.
- Open Unevee and sign in.
- Tap the menu at the top left, then Settings.
- Under Account removal, tap Delete Account and confirm.
No longer have the app?
Email uneveeapp@gmail.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my Unevee account". Include your username if you know it. To protect your account we reply to confirm it is yours, then close it within 7 days of that confirmation. From then on it is the same as deleting it in the app: it is deleted after 14 days, unless you sign in again before that.
What happens next
Your account closes at once: you are signed out on every device, and other people can no longer find your profile or see your posts.
For 14 days you can change your mind by signing in again, which restores everything. After 14 days your account and data are deleted for good, and signing in no longer works. You can sign up again later with the same email, as a new account.
What is deleted
Everything that is yours on Unevee:
- Your profile: name, username, email, phone, photo, bio, date of birth, gender, height, weight and location.
- Your posts and photos, and the comments and likes you left.
- Your followers, the people you follow, and anyone you blocked.
- Your chat messages and photos, files and voice notes you sent.
- Your fitness history: check-ins, workouts, programs, recorded activities, body measurements, nutrition and achievements.
- Your notifications, devices, reports and support requests.
- Your studio memberships and any staff access you had. Studios you own are closed.
What is kept, and why
A gym keeps its own record of payments it received from you, with your name as written on the receipt, because it needs them for its accounts. It is no longer linked to a Unevee account. Payments you still owed are cancelled.
Security logs of sign-ins and account actions are kept for up to 90 days and then deleted.
If our team ever took a safety action on the account, such as a suspension, the record of that action is kept to protect other users. It holds the username and the reason, nothing else from the account.
Messages other people sent you stay in their own chats.
Deleting a studio instead
To close a studio without deleting your personal account, open the studio in the app, go to its Settings and delete the studio. A studio also has 14 days to be restored.
